Terms and Conditions

Contract & Booking

Your contract becomes active once you have made a booking and we have received your deposit.

On arrival, you must sign to confirm you agree to our terms and conditions. If you choose not to sign, your booking will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.

Bookings and Cancellations

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place in our Pet Room. The remaining boarding fees must be paid in full at least 7 days before arrival by bank transfer. Unfortunately we will have to cancel your pet’s stay if boarding fees are not paid before arrival and your deposit will be non-refundable.

Please inform us of cancellations as soon as possible before your pet’s holiday date. If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your arrival date then your deposit will be refunded via bank transfer. If you cancel your booking less than 7 days before your arrival date then your deposit will be non-refundable.

If you would like to change your booking dates then please let us know. We will keep your deposit.
If you collect your pet earlier than the agreed date, boarding fees are non-refundable.

Health, Safety and Wellbeing

All rabbits must be fully vaccinated against myxomatosis and both strains of rabbit haemorrhagic disease (RHD1 and RHD2).
We cannot accept rabbits that have had vaccines less than 3 weeks before their check in date.

Please bring your rabbit’s up-to-date vaccination card when you arrive. You will also have to provide a photo of this when booking.
If you do not bring your rabbits up-to-date vaccination card when you check in, we will have to cancel your booking and your deposit will not be refunded.

This is to protect the health and safety of all our animal guests.

Animal Contact

Pets will not come into contact with any other animals. Bonded animals from the same owner that usually share the same enclosure will be kept together.
Bonded Animals

Rabbits & Guinea Pigs –

Our pens can house up to two bonded rabbits or three bonded guinea pigs. By placing a booking where animals share a pen you take responsibility that your animals are bonded and can share a pen.

If bonded animals sharing an enclosure show signs of aggression, we may separate them for their safety and wellbeing. We have emergency pens available for this purpose.

Other Small Animals –

By placing a booking and bringing an enclosure that has multiple animals in you take responsibly that your pets are bonded and always live in the same cage/enclosure.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking if you arrive with more animals than are booked in and paid for. Your deposit will not be refunded.

Pregnant Animals – We do not board pregnant animals.

Illness and Medication

All medical conditions and treatments must be discussed and agreed before booking. We can administer medication for non-contagious conditions at no extra cost. Please provide enough medication for your pet’s entire stay.

If a pet arrives with undeclared illness or medication needs, we will refuse boarding and your deposit will not be refunded. We also reserve the right to refuse any animal that arrives sick, injured, or pregnant unless previously agreed.

Emergencies

If your pet needs emergency veterinary treatment for any condition, whether existing before arrival or arising during their stay, we will seek immediate veterinary attention.
Your pet will be taken to Vets for Pets, Llanelli, or Vets Now Swansea (out of hours).

We will keep you updated. At check-in, you will sign a form to confirm that if neither you nor your emergency contact can be reached, we can make medical decisions for your pet as advised by the vet.

All veterinary costs from visits or treatment must be paid by you when you collect your pet and are the responsibly of the pet owner.

Death and Abandonment

We take every possible care of your pet. In the unfortunate event of a death, we will contact you or your emergency contact to make arrangements. If we cannot reach you, we will act at our discretion.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re unable to collect your pet/s on the agreed date and time.
If you do not collect your pet on the agreed date and we cannot reach you or your emergency contact, we will continue to care for your pet for up to 14 days. A fee of £15 per night, per animal, will be charged when you collect them.

If after 14 days we still have no contact from you and/or your pet has not been collected, we will consider the animal abandoned and take appropriate action.

Premises Liability

We accept no responsibility for any injury sustained by you or any other person while on our premises.
